About breast friends forevah
Team breast friends forevah,(the survivors formerly known as “breast friends forever”) is a group of individuals who became friends as a result of their cancer diagnosis. We continue to add to our team with both survivors and friends and family of survivors who come and join us in their support.
This year we are late in starting our team though the cause is still of utmost importance to us, and we feel compelled to participate for the funds raised assist in research and prevention of breast cancer.
Some of our teammates have started on a new path as a result of their cancer experience, with new business ventures and projects, as a way to support others, as we were supported.
Our mindset has switched from living with cancer to now enjoying living without it and moving in new directions. We wear our survivor sashes proudly and look forward to the walk Oct. 3rd!
